Avatars for Minecraft replaces the WP Comment avatars with Minecraft avatars. By utilizing the heads directory, Avatars for Minecraft can securely retrieve heads information and replace any gravatar image with a Minecraft head one. In order for this to work, a name must have an existing skin associated with it. If the name cannot be retrieved from the heads library, the default Steve head will be displayed.
Installation
To install Avatars Minecraft, you can follow the basic instructions on installing WordPress plugins. Once installed, the plugin will directly take the usernames from the comment fields, and transform them into Minecraft avatar heads. If you do not see the gravatars, go into your WordPress website’s comment field, and lookup if the plugin is marked as an option below the ”Default Gravatars”.
