The Every Page Shopify Cart solves the missing cart tab problem by adding the Shopify cart tab to all pages of your WordPress site.

Installation
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/shopify-cart-tabdirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins page directly. - Activate the plugin through the ’Plugins’ screen in WordPress
— Once installed, you will see ’Shopify Cart Tab Settings’ in the settings section of your WP dashboard.
— Set the domain, access token and color settings for cart tab.
— Add the Buy Button code as usual on your site.

How do I get the domain and store front access token?

Both of these can be found within any of the script codes that the Shopify Buy Button generates for your store. Look for the ShopifyBuyInit function within the code. http://nimb.ws/hcydY0

Is there a way to change coloring setttings for the buttons themselves?
