You can use Facebook Ads or Google Adwords to create dynamic retargeting campaigns aimed at highly engaged users, which we call Fixel High audiences.

Create Superior Lookalikes

You can use the Fixel High audience, which is of extremely high quality and comparable to cart abandonment, but larger, to create lookalike audience seeds with superior accuracy.




The Fixel plugin is available to install via the WordPress plugin library and you can install it directly from within your WordPress dashboard. For a step-by-step installation guide, check out our detailed documentation site.


Alternatively, you can install manually:

  • Download the Fixel plugin as a zip file.
  • Upload the folder Fixel to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  • Activate the plugin through the ’Plugins’ menu in WordPress

How does Fixel connect with my Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics accounts

The Fixel script is automatically able to identify your Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics installations, and trigger the Fixel scoring events to them.
We don’t require any permissions to these platforms and neither are we able to see data in these platforms.

Will Fixel slow down my site?

Short answer – NO.
Longer answer:
The Fixel script is loaded asynchronously (only after your site has finished loading), so it will not slow down your site.
The script’s size is a mere 15KB. We even optimized our script to score 100/100 on Google’s Speed Test tool so that its impact is as minimal as possible.
Additional Fixel events fired are based on the user’s behavior and these too happen in the background without impacting the user’s experience.

What kind of data does Fixel collect?

Fixel values privacy and uses only the data we need to operate. All data is anonymized and does not include PII (Personal Identifiable Information), the following are some examples of the data we use.
The data we collect can be divided into two categories:
Attributes – Information about the user.
Actions – Information about user engagement with the website.
To be Absolutely Clear:
We do not collect or use demographic data such as age, gender, etc.
We do not use any 3rd party data in our system

Which Ad Platforms does Fixel integrate with?

Out of the box, Fixel sends its data to Google Analytics (for Google Ads) and Facebook Ads. It can also easily integrate with Taboola, Outbrain and LinkedIn with a flip of a button. Additional integrations are supported when installing Fixel via Google Tag Manager – Snapchat, Twitter, Bing, Yahoo and many more.

Fixel is an amazing segmentation tool for remarketing. Before Fixel, I used a variety of methods to try and understand if a user is engaged enough to remarket to, it was very sketchy, inconsistent and usually limited to only one platform. With Fixel, it became easy. They just highlight the right audiences. Removing irrelevant audiences from campaigns used to take hours, now it takes seconds, just target everyone who reached 'Basic' engagement and the Highly engaged audiences deliver great performance not so different from add-to-cart users. Highly recommended for marketers who want to target campaigns based on engagement.
