Allows for easily integration of the Ganxy product embed via the provided Ganxy embed code or via the Ganxy Product URL. Since pasting the embed code into the WordPress editor invalidates the embed trigger script, pasting directly in the editor is not an option. The plugin bridges the gap between the two so you can easily paste your scripts into your page or post without losing the embed functionality. This plugin creates a shortcode placeholder that can be accessed vial the Visual Editor, clicking the placeholder image (link for an image) or by using the shortcode in the text editor. ## Installation #### From your WordPress dashboard 1. Visit ’Plugins > Add New’ 2. Search for ’ganxy embed’ 3. Click Install on the ’Ganxy Embed’ plugin item. 4. Activate Ganxy Embed Plugin from installation page or your Plugins page. #### From another source 1. Download ’Ganxy Embed’ plugin zip file – make note of the download location. 2. Visit ’Plugins > Add New’ and click ’Upload’ at the top of the page. 3. Upload the plugin zip file using the ’browse’ button and locating it on your local drive. 4. Activate the ’Ganxy Embed’ plugin from the install screen or your Plugins page. #### After Activation 1. The plugin will add an icon to the Visual Editor toolbar. 2. Click the icon to see a list or options. 3. Select the desired Option (’Embed by URL’ or ’Paste Embed Code’). 4. Doesn’t even show the TinyMCE editor icon. And since Ganxy is working with iFrames (yuck!), I’d hoped this would allow me to style what looks terrible out of the box. I’ve clearly wasted my time.
