Similar to the original native one, this plugin let you define the range of stats to retrieve.
Also you will be able to add the category name of the post.
Finally, this widget will only display posts (and not pages too).
This plugin read the top 100 of posts/pages and keep only the X first POSTS (X = number defined in the widget parameters). So, you can have less posts than requested.
Jetpack is required to work.
A wordpress account and your blog must be linked.

The widget is named ”Articles populaires” on the sidebar.
Installation
Manual installation
- Upload folder into to the
/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ’Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Use your ’Presentation’/’Sidebar Widgets’ settings to drag and configure
Automatic installation
- Login to the admin interface.
- Click Plugins in the left hand menu navigation.
- Click on ”Add New” next to the Plugins header in the main content area.
- Enter ”Jetpack Popular Posts” (without quotes) in the textbox and click the ”Search Plugins” button.
- In the list of relevant plugins click the ”Install” link for ”Jetpack Popular Posts” on the right hand side of the page.
- Click the ”Install Now” button on the popup page.
- Click ”Activate Plugin” to finish installation.
- Use your ’Presentation’/’Sidebar Widgets’ settings to drag and configure
