Live Rates for ShipStation

Beskrivning

ShipStation is a 3rd party provider helping WooCommerce store owners compare shipping carrier rates, automate shipping processes, print labels, sync order data, and group tracking information, among other features.

This plugin connects to the ShipStation API using an authentication key to display shipping rates from various common carriers supported by ShipStation. This allows store owners to group all their shipping carriers under one umbrella which makes management easier and allows customers to choose the best shipping method for them which leads to happier customers.

In order to use the Live Rates for ShipStation plugin, you must have a premium ShipStation account, and purchased the ShipStation for WooCommerce plugin. This plugin will not work without access to the ShipStation API which is tied to your premium ShipStation account.

Please review ShipStations Terms of Service and ShipStations Privacy Policy for more information about how your data is managed.

Woocommerce refuses to offer this feature in their plugin because they want you to buy a shipping plugin for every carrier, lol. I was using EasyPost to get around it, but they just started charging for their API, and we’re already paying ShipStation a lot. This was the easiest shipping plugin I have ever set up and saved us from having to buy 3 Woocommerce carrier plugins and messing around with setting those all up with our accounts. I had it working well within a few minutes and appreciate the percentage adjustments per carrier. Thank you!

Thank you for making this very handy plugin and for fixing my issue so quickly! I highly recommend this plugin to those using ShipStation with Woocommerce! Because of this plugin I am now able to provide international customers in Canada shipping options during a postal strike! I plan to continue to offer these shipping options from here on out and also offer them to other international customers. So thanks again @iqcalex, great work!

I recently found this plugin. It has zero reviews (until now), and only two support threads where the developer has been prompt to respond and provide solutions. After testing it for a few weeks on one live site, I have now installed it on a second site. Although I believe that ShipStation, considering what they charge API users, should include a plugin for WooCommerce, live shipping rate solutions are limited. Similar to one of the users who posted a support ticket, I was struggling to find a way to escape the disaster plugins from 1TeamSoftware. They had been the only third-party developer who offered ShipStation solutions with the features my sites required. I have been arguing with 1Team developers for many months over numerous issues, and they don’t care. They take the subscription funds and blame issues on anything except their own products, then demand paid support. Although this is a review of IQComputing’s plugin, I have to advise those using or considering the 1TeamSoftware solutions. ICQ’s plugin is cleaner, without any bloat on the admin UI pages. It connects to ShipStation API v2 by default. ICQ’s plugin is functional and has not exhibited any compatibility issues with other plugins. The Admin UI page loads instantly (with no bloat). All the problems I experienced with the 1Team plugins have vanished. Here are some examples: Fast and easy setup. Follow the steps. SAVE the page after entering and verifying the ShipStation v2 API key Processing times at checkout is now faster for our customers Admin UI loading times are instantaneous. Integrates with existing Woo settings instead of creating multiple additional settings pages. No Bloat. No links to a half dozen other products taking up 33% or more of each settings page Easier to configure Ability to add a percentage to shipping rates (see feature request below) There is room for future improvements, but for now, I’m happy to have a Live Shipping Rate plugin for ShipStation that works! Here are a few suggestions: Option to set a specific amount added to individual shipping rates ’or’ percentage increase Add ’Ship From’ feature for specific products (or brand, or category, etc.). For example, some items may drop ship from a warehouse or manufacturer. This is a built-in feature within ShipStation, but not in the live rates configuration. Improvements in packaging options IQComputing, Thank You!
