The Trustguide Widget plugin connects your WordPress site to your Trustguide account. After logging in, you can select the workspace whose reviews should appear on your WordPress website. The plugin then automatically loads your Trustguide widget across your WordPress website. Typical setup: 1. Install and activate the plugin. 2. Open WordPress Admin Trustguide. 3. Log in with your Trustguide account. 4. Select a Trustguide workspace. 5. Click Install Trustguide widget, or Update installed workspace if you are changing the selected workspace. 6. View your website and confirm the widget appears. This plugin connects to the Trustguide SaaS service at https://app.trustguide.ai. ### External services This plugin connects to Trustguide to authenticate your Trustguide account, retrieve your available workspaces, create a scoped WordPress connection, retrieve the selected workspace widget script URL, and load the public Trustguide widget script on your website. Data sent during setup includes your Trustguide email/password for authentication, your WordPress site URL, site name, plugin version, and the selected workspace ID. The plugin does not store your Trustguide password. After installation, it stores only a scoped connection token and the widget script URL. You need a Trustguide account and workspace to use the widget. ### What if I do not have a workspace? Create a workspace in Trustguide first, then return to the plugin setup screen. ### What if my workspace has no place? Add a place in Trustguide first, then return to the plugin setup screen and install the widget. ### Does this plugin store my Trustguide password? No. The plugin sends your email/password to Trustguide only to request a login token during setup. It does not store your password. ### Can I disconnect? Yes.
