Beskrivning
Easy Username updater is a plugin which allows administrators to change usernames on their site. It provide list of users with their email address,username and role. It changes display name as well.
This plugin also do following:
- Search the user by username, email address, or role.
- Send the updated username to user by email.
How to install?
- Unzip the downloaded ’username-updater.zip’ file
- Upload the ’username-updater’ folder to ’/wp-content/plugins’ directory of your WordPress installation
- Activate the plugin via the WordPress Plugins page
- A new submenu will automatically create on users menu

I used this plugin just for changing one username. It does its job well and very easily.

I added this plugin, followed directions, and changed the username. The plugin says that the username is now what I changed it to. Went back to the user, and username is the same as before. I logged out and logged back in, and the original username remains.

Super useful to fix email typo's
Customer fat fingered an order and consequently WP username was incorrect.
Super easy fix as I wanted to edit the name rather than create another one.
