Easy Comment Embeds improves comment readability by automatically enhancing standalone
URLs:

Responsive oEmbed video

Inline image embeds

Twitter/X blockquote fallback

OpenGraph link preview cards

Smart URL detection (standalone URLs only)

Optional debug logging

No external dependencies. No tracking. No bloat.

### External Services

This plugin loads Twitter/X’s widgets.js script when a comment contains a Twitter/
X status URL.
 No data is sent from WordPress to Twitter/X; however, Twitter/X may
collect visitor information as part of loading their embed script.

## Installation

Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/

Activate the plugin

Visit Settings  Easy Comment Embeds to configure options

## Vanliga frågor

### Do embeds work inside sentences?

No. Only URLs that appear alone on their own line are processed.

### Can I disable certain embed types?

Yes. The settings page allows toggling:

oEmbed

Inline images

Twitter/X fallback

OpenGraph previews

Debug logging

### How do I style the OpenGraph cards?

OG cards use simple HTML and CSS. Theme authors may override:

    ```
    .vern-og-card img { width: 100%; }
    ```

### How do I style inline images?

Default:

    ```
    .vern-embed-image img { max-width: 100%; }
    ```

Override:

    ```
    .vern-embed-image img { width: 100%; }
    ```
