You’ve just uploaded quite a few strings into https://translate.wordpress.org/locale/sv/default/wp-plugins/customer-area/
And I can see that you’ve suggested strings for a lot of other locales, as well.

I have a couple of questions:

How did you source these translations? If you got them from users, then the best approach would be that each user registered an account and wordpress.org and submitted the strings in their name.
Are you aware about the role CL-PTE (cross locale PTE)? (You can read more in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/about/roles-and-capabilities/#cross-locale-project-translation-editor )
Could you please join the global Slack team for WordPress contributors via https://make.wordpress.org/chat/ in order to enable more direct two-way communication?

Thank you for your message.

I’m sorry if this isn’t the best approach. Those strings come from our community (I’m WP Customer Area plugin author). Some of our users previously translated our plugin and sent us some files (some years ago), before WP had a translation system online.
So I thought I was allowed to send those translation files to WP.org in order to let translators translate our plugin without starting from scratch.

By reading your comment, I guess I wasn’t allowed to do that?
Also, could you please tell me what is the difference between the development/trunk and stable branch ? Should we translate strings in the dev or stable branches first?

  Of course you could upload the strings, just like you did.
  The problem is that this kind of ”anonymous” strings in many languages tend to remain in ”pending” forever.
  It’s always better if you’ve got someone interested in taking care of a certain translation. They can then interact with their language team, and once the language team sees good quality, they may assign that user the role PTE (translation editor) and then their strings will get submitted immediately.
  
  At a quick glance, the Swedish strings look mostly fine, and we’re going to check them over the nearest couple of weeks. But even if we approve all these strings, no language pack will get generated, since the threshold for generation of initial language pack is that at least 90% of the strings, 1259 strings will be needed..
