Externa tjänster

This plugin connects to an external service operated by Ryu-Raku Inc. to provide spam detection and account management features. It is required for the plugin to function.

What is sent, when, and why:

• Your site’s domain — sent on every admin page load (cached for up to 1 hour) to https://api.mute-it.com/wp/status, to retrieve your plan status and monthly block count for display in the WordPress admin panel.
• A loader script — https://api.mute-it.com/client.js is loaded on your public pages so that bot detection can run in the visitor’s browser.
• A verification token — when a form is submitted, a one-time token is sent to https://api.mute-it.com/verify to confirm the submission came from a page protected by MUTE.
• The IP address of a blocked submission — when a submission is identified as bot-generated, the sender’s IP address and your site’s domain are sent to https://api.mute-it.com/report-spam-ip. This is used to protect other sites from the same bot. The IP address is retained for 90 days and then deleted automatically.

We do not collect or transmit the contents of your form submissions, the names, email addresses, or messages of the people who contact you, or any other visitor data beyond what is listed above.
