Beskrivning

Taberipp is a WordPress plugin for food bloggers in Japan. It lets you create beautiful restaurant card blocks that link to major Japanese restaurant reservation and review sites with affiliate links.

No external API required. All restaurant information (name, image, address, and URLs) is entered manually. When a Tabelog URL is set, review and map links are automatically generated.

Supported Services

• Tabelog (ValueCommerce) — standard service, always available

Optional services (disabled by default; enable them in the plugin settings):

Card Display Items

• Restaurant image
• Restaurant name (links to main service)
• Sub-text
• Address with map link (auto-generated from Tabelog URL)
• Review link (auto-generated from Tabelog URL)
• Optional coupon badge linking to the Tabelog coupon/map page (auto-generated from Tabelog URL, disabled by default)
• Reservation buttons (1–3 columns on desktop, configurable in settings; always 1 column on mobile)

How to Use

1. Activate the plugin.
2. Go to Taberipp > Settings and enter your affiliate IDs (ValueCommerce SID/PID and A8.net a8mat).
3. Go to Taberipp > Restaurant List and click ”Add New” to register a restaurant.
4. In the edit screen, enter the restaurant name, image URL, address, and service URLs, then save.
5. Insert the restaurant card using the shortcode [taberipp id=”XXX”] or the Gutenberg block.

Notes

• Even without affiliate IDs configured, buttons are displayed and link to each service’s top page.
• The review and map links auto-generated from Tabelog URLs may break if Tabelog changes their URL structure.
• Please review and comply with the terms of service of each affiliate network you use.

External Services

This plugin allows users to add affiliate links to external restaurant reservation and review services. No data is automatically sent to these services — links are only followed when a user clicks a button.

Used to generate affiliate tracking links for Tabelog, Ikyu Restaurant, HotPepper Gourmet, Hitosara, and OZmall. When a user clicks a reservation button, they are redirected through ValueCommerce’s tracking URL.
– What is sent: The affiliate SID/PID configured by the site owner, plus the destination URL.
– When: Only when a visitor clicks a button.

Credit Link (Opt-in)

The plugin can display a small ”Taberipp” credit link (to https://taberipp.com/) in the bottom-right corner of restaurant cards. This is strictly opt-in: it is disabled by default and only shown when the site administrator explicitly enables it in the plugin settings.

No Automatic External Requests

The plugin itself does not send any HTTP requests to external servers. There are no API calls, no update checks, no telemetry, and no tracking. All external services listed above are only reached when a site visitor clicks a link.
